Those Who Are Happiest Are Those Who Do The Most For Others
Giving Back Makes Us Feel Happy.
As you grow older, you realize that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for serving the less fortunate. My mother always taught me the importance of giving back and helping the less fortunate by her examples. I find it incredibly rewarding. True enough no one has become poor by giving.
I sincerely believe giving back is one of the exceptional life lessons we can teach our children. We must educate our kids that this material world isn’t about them, and that through our actions people will really discover, what kind of person we truly are. A man’s true wealth is the good he does in this world. If you asked me, charity begins at home, but shouldn’t end there.
Happiness doesn’t result from what we get but from what we give. True happiness is giving it all away. There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up. A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal. We are what we repeatedly do. Giving back is not an act but a habit.
There's nothing more rewarding than giving back and making a difference in changing people's lives the wealth we gathered throughout our life, we will leave it all behind us when we are dead. Our state of happiness doesn't result from what we get, but from what we give. Serving others is hard-wired in the human brain by God Almighty and it brings us tremendous joy. Helping others may just be the true secret to living a life that is not only happier but also healthier, wealthier, more productive and meaningful.
Our affection should be the basis of our act in giving. It is not how much we give, but how much of our emotional feelings that we put into giving. The gift of time is easily more precious to the receiver and more satisfying for the giver than the gift of money. We all have time on our hands as compared to the amount of money where the gap has been huge. We can devote our entire lifetime for service to others or just set aside a couple of hours a day or even a few days a year as long we are sincere and expecting nothing in return. Happiness is honesty.
If you want to be happy, one of the most vital factor is that you must be sincere in your act of serving others. One of the prodigious achievement that enrich the human soul and spirit is selflessness and humility. If we all strive towards this, we will attain the happiness that we seek.
